Thanks scanner for murdering my first piece of 2018 art :'V y u do?
Anyways a quick little concept of my vampire character Kane, I need to draw him more. He is a sad boi. He's got a super sad backstory, and he's just an all round precious cinnamon roll that need protecting at ALL COSTS!
Had loads of fun drawing those birds, I think I am finally understanding what birds look like, rather than an egg with wings haha Als first time using coloured pencils as my line-art and I REALLY like the effect, will probably be doing more of that in the future c:
Title has also been yanked from a Billy Talent song, which inspired this piece

Your watercolor stuff is so soft and gentle, and I really think it suits Kane. Loving the birds, too. *^*
